II. Customer Project Overview
The customer is a high-tech innovative "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of new power battery materials, with a focus on high-purity ultrafine inorganic functional materials. It is the world's largest producer of battery-grade manganese sulfate and the only company in the industry mastering the key technology for wet-process manganese-based cathode precursors. The company has achieved full industrial chain integration from manganese ore processing to deep processing of manganese-based lithium battery cathode materials. Its main products hold domestic market shares of 60% and 65%, respectively, primarily serving lithium-ion and sodium-ion battery cathode materials.
To meet the needs of new product R&D and production, the customer ordered two 2PGC450×500 toothed roll crushers from Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. in March 2025 for crushing lithium battery materials in R&D applications. The equipment was manufactured and delivered on schedule in April 2025.
Through recommendations from industry experts, the customer visited our company for inspections and discussions. Both parties communicated and compared various solutions, ultimately choosing to collaborate with Zhengzhou Mining Machinery after comprehensive evaluations. After finalizing parameters such as material specifications, rotational speed, and crushed particle size, the contract was signed. Zhengzhou Mining Machinery produced the equipment according to the agreed technical requirements and drawings, delivering it on time.
III. Product Application and Features
The 2PGC450×500 toothed roll crusher is used for material crushing. It features a simple structure, compact and lightweight design, cost-effectiveness, reliable operation, easy adjustment of crushing ratios, and minimal over-crushing.
IV. Working Principle
The double-roll crusher consists of two parallel cylindrical rollers horizontally mounted on the frame, rotating in opposite directions. Material is fed into the hopper and falls onto the rotating rollers. Driven by friction, the material is drawn between the rollers and crushed under compression. The crushed material is then discharged downward.
