Scope of Services: Comprehensive technical services covering the entire process from R&D, design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, to operational support for the PQ16 Disc Granulator.
II. Project Requirements
A non-ferrous metal smelting company in Yunnan required granulation treatment of tin ore. The raw tin ore, with a pre-granulation particle size of 200 mesh, needed to be processed into granules ranging from 5 to 10 mm using granulation equipment. This ensures the material meets the requirements for subsequent roasting in a fluidized bed furnace, thereby extending the furnace’s operational duration, eliminating downtime for cleaning, and increasing the furnace’s annual processing capacity.
III. Project Description
The core equipment used in this project is the PQ16 Disc Granulator manufactured by Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd., with a designed single-unit capacity of 6 tons per hour.
For control systems, the equipment is equipped with a frequency conversion control cabinet and a local control cabinet. The frequency conversion control cabinet features "Start/Stop" buttons, speed adjustment buttons or knobs, displays for rotational speed and current, and includes data output ports. The local control cabinet also includes "Start/Stop" buttons, speed adjustment buttons or knobs, and is equipped with a display screen to show rotational speed and current.
IV. Project Significance
In this project, the PQ16 Disc Granulator successfully processed 200-mesh tin ore into 5–10 mm granules, providing suitable prepared feedstock for fluidized bed furnace roasting. This treatment process extended the furnace’s operational time, avoided downtime and cleaning caused by material issues, significantly increased the furnace’s annual processing capacity, and thereby enhanced the overall production efficiency of the non-ferrous metal smelting company in Yunnan. It further promoted efficient and stable production within the enterprise.
