In the mineral processing production line, the energy consumption of the grinding operation is 45 ~ 55% of total energy consumption and operation cost of mill plant is 40 ~ 60% of the total cost, and the steel cost is about 90%. Therefore, reducing energy consumption of grinding can directly make energy consumption of the whole production line low and running costs is under control. So, how to reduce energy consumption of grinding link, improve the efficiency of grinding?

The grinding equipment is mainly ball mill equipment at home and abroad. Ball mill is a large cylinder structure, with the length of 3.6 meters on the steel frame, let barrel rotation driven by gear bearing. Cylinder body is equipped with many steel balls, and ball quantity can generally take up 40% ~ 45% of the barrel capacity, often has dozens of tons in weight. The rotation of the cylinder will cast steel ball to upside down and let it fall, form the impact, the large pieces of ore crushing.  In the process of steel ball of the rotating cylinder at the same time interact with each other, forms grinding force and grinds mineral to be broken fine.
