The reason is that each 1.6 ton raw material produces 1 ton cement clinker, which means that if the calcinations process is located nearby cities, the transportation cost would be increase 60%.

If located the whole cement product line at mining district, because most additives are city waste and the go and back transportation would increase the freight. So, it would be better that the cement clicker product line is located at mining district and the cement grinding is station located nearby market. In summary, cement grinding station is an industry with green benefits.
