Shaftless screw conveyor blade's damage reasons and treatment
Release Date: 2015.12.10 Views:

Shaftless screw conveyor can transport material that traditional shaft screw and belt conveyors could not or difficult to transport, such as granular and powdered materials, wet and pasty materials, semi-fluid and sticky materials, materials that are easy to wound and easy to be blocked, and materials that has special hygiene requirements. Shaftless screw conveyor’s performance characteristics are: compared with traditional shaft, shaftless screw conveyors adopt overall steel spiral that has a certain flexibility, thus having the above outstanding advantages and good environmental performance. Compared with the shaft screw conveyor, it could reduce a lot of weight and cost.

One. The blade is too thin, all the stress points are on the blade due to the shaftless screw conveyor lack the intermediate shaft, the thickness of the blade has a very important impact on the actual use of the device. Choosing the helical blades with suitable thickness could directly affects the using effects of shaftless screw conveyor.

Two. Blade wheelbase is too small, spiral pipe diameter is inappropriately chosen. When conveying powder or flaky material, the blade wheel base is too small, thus causing the pressing force is too large and directly damaging the blades.

With the rotation of the shaft, the thick blades might have a certain amount of damage. Another reason is that the tube diameter is smaller, also could cause excessive pressure. Blades could have the serious injury. After these two measures are taken, we can reduce the blade speed t o achieve this effect.
