Product FEATURE

The acidification rotary kiln is an acidification roasting equipment for spodumene clinker in the sulfuric acid method lithium carbonate production process. The kiln support is available in two types: rolling and sliding. The drive system can use DC or AC variable frequency speed control, and various forms of seals are available to adapt to different working conditions. Our company can design and produce non-standard kilns with various structures in diameters ranging from 0.8 to 6 meters according to customers' actual requirements.
Key Advantages
1. To ensure external heating efficiency, special air ducts are designed inside the jacket to guarantee thermal efficiency and precise temperature control, thereby ensuring the conversion rate of acidified materials.
2. Special anti-sticking devices are installed on the outer and inner walls of the shell to ensure smooth material flow.
3. The support system is available in rolling and sliding types; the drive can use DC or AC variable frequency speed control to adapt to various working conditions.
4. Various structures of acidification kilns can be designed according to customer requirements to meet their specific working conditions.
5. The support system is available in rolling and sliding types; the drive can use DC or AC variable frequency speed control to adapt to various working conditions.
6. Equipped with a remote intelligent variable-speed kiln condition control system, allowing production personnel to remotely adjust kiln conditions in real time.
7. Heat source options: independently controlled small burner or hot air stove type.
Working Principle
The mixture of spodumene and concentrated sulfuric acid enters the kiln shell from the kiln tail for calcination. Due to the inclination and slow rotation of the kiln shell, the material rolls along the circumferential direction while moving axially from the high end to the low end. The material is heated inside the kiln, causing a chemical reaction between the concentrated sulfuric acid and lithium oxide. After acidification roasting, the material is discharged from the low end of the kiln shell into a cooler. Fuel is burned through a small burner or hot air stove to generate hot air. The hot air transfers heat to the acid-mixed spodumene through the kiln shell wall, heating the material. The exhaust gas generated from this process is treated by the kiln tail flue gas purification system and then discharged into the atmosphere through a chimney.
