1. Project Overview


The customer is a French company who has 4 NPK Fertilizer Plants in Brazil. The technical team from customer’s company has visited most of the equipment supplier in China in April, 2016. After detailed technical meeting with ZK’s technical team, the customer choose ZK to be his long term partner and to fabricate the Rotary Granulator in accordance with their detailed fabrication drawing. The equipment was shipped on time on November 25, 2016.

 

2. Solution


The granulator supplied this time is a drum granulator and corresponding supporting equipment. The unit hour is 30t. The drum granulator of this equipment is a kind of equipment that completes the granulation of the mixture by rotating the drum. Take the following solutions to solve customer needs:

 

The drum granulator is composed of a base frame, a cylinder, a transmission device, a supporting wheel, a connecting shaft and so on. When working, the geared motor drives the sprocket to drive the supporting wheel to rotate. Under the action of friction, the supporting wheel drives the cylinder with a certain inclination to rotate at a low speed. Under the action of friction and centrifugal force, the mixture rises to a certain height with the wall. Then it rolls down under the action of gravity, and the rolling material and the rising material produce relative motion and roll into balls. The material balls roll in the circumferential direction and move from the high end to the low end in the direction of the cylinder axis, so that the finished particles are discharged from the low end.

 

The granulator has the characteristics of high production efficiency, high yield, simple structure, sturdiness and durability, and convenient operation and maintenance.
