Ball mill liner is an important part of ball mill equipment, which is also one of the easiest to wear and tear part. The quality of ball mill liner good or bad, to a large extent determines the quality of the whole ball mill equipment. Ball mill liner wears fast, which not only can greatly increase the cost of enterprise, and frequent replacement of ball mill liner will waste a lot of time and energy, and influence production progress.
So measures of reducing the mill liner wear have the following kinds:
1. To control moisture of materials that are put into the ball mill below 2%, this is to avoid acidic or alkaline substances in the material under high temperature and high moisture generated corrosive substances, if too much water, it will speed up the liner abrasion.
2. Try to adopt the method of closed circuit grinding. Because material and the grinding ball inside a closed circuit ball mill is large, liner wear rate of ball mill compared with open-circuit grinding decreases.
3. Strengthen the ventilation of ball mill in order to reduce the temperature of ball mill, and this will make the ball mill liner inside the barrel under the high temperature with low shape deformation. At the same time, also lower the humidity of the material inside the ball mill, and the temperature of clinker into the ball mill should be controlled under 50 ℃.
4. While in the operation of ball mill, feeding materials must be uniform, especially prevent the ball mill cylinder with less material or no material.
