Calcination ceramsite with different process take different devices, there are twp ways to use rotary kiln production ceramsite:

1, production by wet method, is similar to the wet process of cement production, in long kiln calcination wet material, raw material in rotary kiln drying dehydration zone, the advantages of this approach, is to be able to in a drying and roasting work within the device;its disadvantage is that it can’t locally regulate the drying system.

2 use plastic production, to make raw materials into semi-finished products, after drying in the rotary kiln, thus it can shorten the length of the kiln.
