The basic principle of vertical cooler produced by Henan Zhengzhou Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. is as the followings. After enter into the cooler, the lime clinker scattered and piled around the hood. Metal inverted cone setting at the bottom of the cooler gather the lime clinker on the disk, pile into the material pile with a certain height and can cover hood, which the lower part is in the shape of cylinder and the the upper part is in the shape of a cone.

Heat lime clinker stagnating in the cooler go through the two scrapers fixed in the corresponding angle plane of disc, rotate driven by the lantern gear, make the material exchange the heat with the downstream cooling air from bottom to top. After that, it’s scrapped into the chute of disc, and then discharged by star or format unloader.

The vertical cooler adopts the cooler method of forced mechanical blast. Through the forced air supply, it can achieve the aim of rapid cooling of material and high temperature combustion air. In its working principle, it forms the different working principle with the cooling cylinder and other forms, which use the positive pressure mode to operate and no need to be forced to send the wind.

Due to the working principle of vertical cooler, in the operation with the rotary kiln, the air flow produced by draft (negative pressure) and blowing force (positive pressure) will intersect in a certain position of the container, forming the intersection between the draft and blowing force during the flow process point of zero pressure -- intersection point -- neutral point.

The location of neutral point on the active lime rotary kiln is generally refers to the bottom of the rotary kiln discharge end and the upper of the cooler, which the material is about to enter into the cooler.
