There are two main types of belt conveyor’s supporting roller: carrying idler, the supporting roller for conveyor roller’s load in conveyor’s running; Return idlers, idlers for supporting the return conveyor.
The supporting rollers have three types:
Parallel rollers- suitable for conveying granular material whose response angle is not less than 35, having low conveying capacity, only for short distances transportation. 20° troughing idlers-used to transport all different kinds of bulk solid materials, could be equipped with the conveyors made of heavy load core layer. 35 ° or 45 ° troughing idlers - for small or lighter particles, such as grain, cottonseed, wood chips etc. It can also be used for heavy bulk materials of middle size, such as gravel etc. Compared with 20° troughing idlers, it has deep grooves, large cross-section and large conveying capacity.
Trouging bearing supporting rollers(upper supporting roller).
Standard trouging rollers - the most common roller, composed of sticks in the straight line. This type of rollers may constitute the supporting rollers, having the largest cross-sectional area.
Aligning idlers - it vertically installs two stop rollers with the trouging bearing idlers, which prevent the conveyor from the correct position, and at the center position.
Buffer roller - buffer roller is used for the processed material’s weight and seriously damaged conveyor’s feeding section. Stick is covered with a thick layer made of resilient rubber.
Return roller (lower roller)
Return idlers is for supporting backhaul flat conveyor belt. In some cases, it can also be simultaneously used to correct the deviation and clean return conveyor belt.
