Our company offers 17 different models of XCF/KYF-type air-forced agitation flotation machines, with tank volumes ranging from 1 to 100 m³, capable of handling 0.2–60 m³/min of aerated flotation material.
Both the XCF and KYF flotation machines are air-forced flotation machines, featuring:
- A small impeller diameter and low peripheral speed, reducing power consumption by 30–50%;
- An air distributor inside the tank to ensure uniform air dispersion;
- An impeller that functions like a centrifugal pump, keeping solid particles fully suspended;
- A U-shaped tank structure to minimize tailings sedimentation;
- A well-designed impeller structure and blade flow channels, ensuring even wear and extending the service life of the impeller and stator.
✔ Key Differences:
- The KYF-type machine does not self-suction slurry but has lower power consumption.
- The XCF-type has self-suction slurry capability, can be installed horizontally, and does not require a froth pump, though its power consumption is slightly higher than the KYF-type.
- Typically, XCF and KYF machines are combined into a unit: the XCF serves as the suction cell, while the KYF acts as the direct-flow cell, allowing horizontal installation without a froth pump.

✔ Working Principle
When the impeller rotates, its upper blades suction feed ore and middlings, while slurry in the tank is drawn into the lower impeller blades from the surroundings. Simultaneously, low-pressure air from a blower enters the lower impeller blades through the distributor.
The slurry and air are thoroughly mixed in the lower impeller region and then discharged from the blade periphery. The discharged mixture, along with slurry from the upper blades, is stabilized and directed by the surrounding stator before entering the main slurry body in the tank.
Mineralized bubbles rise to the slurry surface, forming a froth layer that overflows into the launder. Meanwhile, part of the slurry recirculates back to the lower impeller, while the rest flows through inter-tank ports into the next cell for further separation.
