During the production process of architectural ceramic glazes, different colors require glazes with different components, which are more suitable for intermittent grinding preparation. A Malaysian architectural ceramics manufacturer wants to purchase a set of grinding equipment due to its glaze grinding needs. Its ceramic products come in various colors. Not only must it avoid mixing and adding materials, but it must also not use ordinary cast iron liners and steel balls for grinding. In general, although there are many ball mill equipment manufacturers, we have never found a satisfactory supplier. After being recommended by other companies in the country, I contacted Henan Zhengkuang Machinery Co., Ltd. in June 2016. After explaining the production needs and technical parameters, Zhengkuang’s business staff immediately introduced the company’s ceramic ball mill and related production plans. The other party was very satisfied and organized it immediately. We inspected and signed the purchase contract on the 21st of that month. On August 10, 2017, the on-site installation and commissioning was completed and officially accepted and put into production.

2. Solution

This time we are supplying 1 ceramic ball mill with specifications of Φ2.2x2.9m, intermittent grinding, and designed charging capacity of 5 tons. This project mainly adopts the following solutions to solve customer needs:

1. Based on the customer's batch material variety, grindability data, production capacity and grinding fineness requirements, recommend grinding equipment, process design, and equipment selection for customers, and reasonably plan the equipment layout based on the on-site land use area.

2. According to the customer's material grinding in batches and times, and to eliminate the requirement of iron grinding body, a ceramic ball mill is selected for intermittent production. The lining plate and grinding body are all replaced with ceramic lining plates and spiked balls to avoid iron elements from contaminating the glaze components. and color.

3. According to the requirements of the particle size, hardness and fineness of the grinding materials, formulate a ball distribution plan for the customer, reasonably select the shape of the lining plate, optimize the proportion of porcelain segments and porcelain balls, and take into account the crushing and grinding performance.

4. Arrange technical engineers to go to the site to direct the installation, provide technical guidance and services, and increase the reliability of the later operation of the equipment.
