A client from Suzhou, Jiangsu, plans to establish a solid waste pilot verification production line in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. After multiple inspections and discussions, the client fully recognized Zhengkuang's technical and manufacturing capabilities, particularly its numerous successful cases in solid waste treatment pilot verification platforms. Ultimately, Zhengkuang Machinery was selected to supply the core equipment for the entire production line – the pelletizer and rounding machine.
The PQ1630 Disc Pelletizer is mainly used for pelletizing powdered materials. It not only produces pellets with uniform size, low moisture content, and high strength but also features a simple structure, easy control, low power consumption, and stable operation. It is a core equipment for manufacturers producing spherical materials.
Working Principle of the Disc Pelletizer:
Raw material powder is formed into uniformly sized pellet nuclei, which are then fed into the pelletizing disc. Inside the disc, the nuclei move along a parabolic trajectory under centrifugal force, friction, and gravity. During continuous rolling, moisture within the pellets is gradually expelled to the surface. Due to the material’s cohesiveness and plasticity, the nuclei adhere to the raw powder and gradually grow. The material’s cohesiveness and the natural evaporation of the surface liquid film give the pellets sufficient strength. When parameters such as the disc’s inclination angle, edge height, rotation speed, and moisture content are fixed, pellets of different sizes leave the disc edge at varying ejection angles due to differences in gravity. They then roll downward and are discharged from the disc as the inclined disc rotates.
Working Principle of the Rounding Machine:
The rounding machine is driven by a reduction motor and sprocket, rotating a drum with a 3.5% inclination at low speed. Material is fed from the high end of the drum and, under centrifugal and gravitational forces, is repeatedly lifted, scattered, and moved downward. The friction between the material particles completes the rounding process. The rounded material is discharged from the low end of the drum.
