1. Working Principle
The raw material powder is made into ball cores with uniform particle size and then sent into the ball forming disc. After entering the ball forming disc, the ball core is affected by centrifugal force, friction and gravity in the disc, moves along a parabola, and the water in the ball is continuously squeezed out of the surface during the rolling process. Due to the cohesiveness and plasticity of the material, the ball core adheres to the raw material powder during the movement and gradually grows. Due to the cohesiveness of the material and the natural volatilization of the surface liquid film, the material ball has a certain strength. When the parameters such as the inclination angle, disc edge height, rotation speed and moisture of the ball forming disc are constant, the material balls of different particle sizes leave the disc edge at different departure angles and roll down due to different gravity, and then are discharged from the disc edge as the inclined disc rotates.
2. Application
The disc granulator is mainly used for granulating raw materials such as fly ash, sludge, clay, slag, powder, etc. in industries such as cement industry, iron industry and fertilizer industry.
3. Composition structure
The disc granulator is mainly composed of a scraper device, a disc body, a bracket, a transmission device, a frame, etc. Its main structural features are:
3.1 Scraper device: It adopts a set of disc bottom scrapers and a set of disc wall scrapers. The power device can be added as needed;
3.2 Disc body: It is the main working part. The material meets the requirements of Q235B in GB/T700. Different materials and lining plates can be selected according to the specific needs of customers;
3.3 Bracket: It mainly plays a supporting role;
3.4 Transmission device: It is composed of a motor and a reducer. The motor adopts a variable frequency speed regulating motor. The speed can be adjusted according to different customer needs;
3.5 Frame: The base is made of steel butt-welded and processed as a whole on a boring and milling machine.
4. Product advantages
1) The balling disc is easy to adjust inclination angle, has novel structure, light weight, low height, and flexible and convenient process layout;
2) The balling disc consists of a disc body and a disc section. The disc section can be adjusted up and down along the disc body, and the end of the disc section is a side flange to ensure that the ball is not pulled or torn when it leaves the disc;
3) After the frame is welded and the stress is eliminated, its mating surface is processed and formed on a boring and milling machine at one time to ensure higher assembly accuracy and smoother operation of the whole machine;
4) The scraper device composed of a non-powered combined scraper and a corner cleaning scraper can clean the bottom and edges at the same time. When used in conjunction with the optimized balling disc, the balling effect is better, and the qualified balls reach more than 90%.
