Our company's sludge dryer products have 14 specifications and models according to the cylinder size, ranging from Ø1.2×12m to Ø4.2×42m, the cylinder speed is 2.09-5r/min, and the supporting main motor power is 11-400KW. It can dry 2-46 tons of materials per hour.

In view of the characteristics of easy agglomeration during sludge dehydration, the plate structure of the general single-channel dryer was changed and a combined self-cleaning device was adopted, which greatly expanded the application scope of the single-channel dryer. It can not only dry various Like sludge, it can also dry various high-viscosity materials.

✔ Working Principle  

The sludge is fed into the sludge dryer through a chute via a feeder. As the drum rotates, the sludge is guided onto the inclined lifting plates and is lifted to the center of the drum. It then cascades down, forming a curtain of material through which high-temperature airflow passes, preheating the sludge and evaporating some of its moisture.  

When the sludge falls and moves onto the movable grate-type wing plates, it mixes with the preheated plates, transferring heat to the material and evaporating additional moisture. Simultaneously, the wing plates repeatedly lift and scatter the sludge, allowing multiple cycles of convective and direct heat exchange between the material and the hot airflow.  

Additionally, a cleaning device embedded in the material slides along the inner side of the arc-shaped lifting plates, scraping off any sludge adhering to the inner walls. As the drum continues to rotate past the vertical line, the cleaning device drags along the outer side of the lifting plates, removing any material stuck to the exterior surfaces.  

With the continuous rotation of the sludge dryer drum, further moisture is evaporated, and the sludge becomes increasingly dry. The cleaning device also helps break up sludge clumps, enhancing the drying efficiency. Finally, the dried sludge is discharged from the outlet as a loose, low-moisture material.
