Rotary Lime kiln is one kind of furnace which is widely used for calcined active lime production in the world. It is also widely used in many industries such as construction materials, metallurgy, chemical and environmental protection.The energy-saving rotary lime kiln has the advanced structure and stable operation. It adopts the vertical preheater with low pressure loss which can effectively improve the preheating effects. The raw materials' decomposition rate in the vertical preheater can reach to 30% before entering into the rotary kiln. It is also suitable for different fuels including pulverized solid fuel, liquid fuel and gas fuel. The final lime products have high activity. This kind of rotary kiln already have been widely used in the steel industry and chemical industry.

According to the calcination character of limestone, lime rotary kiln is specialized design for production of active lime. This type of kiln can work with vertical preheater and vertical cooler to achieve the advantages like high use ratio of raw materials, complete calcination, even quality, good quality lime, high capacity output, environmental and energy saving, simple operation and longer working life. This kiln is very suitable for limestone calcination for industries like metallurgy, chemical, construction materials and etc.

 Advantages

1. The rotary kiln has a stable output, so it is suitable for large,medium-sized and small active lime production lines.

2. The rotary kiln is open-type calcination process. Its structure is very simple. The quality of final lime is stable and with low rate of light-burnt and over-burnt. The rotary kiln can make the high quality lime with higher activity for steel making industry. Under the same conditions, the activity of lime produced by rotary kiln is higher than that of gas-fired vertical kiln, with an average 30mL higher, and the activity is normally 340~380mL, even up to 400mL.

3. The rotary kiln can directly feed into fine limestone with sizes of 10~50mm. Normally, 0~30mm fine limestone produced accounts for 30-40% of the total quantity. The construction of the rotary kiln production line can not only make full use of high-quality limestone mine resources, but also can meet the sustainable development policy of the lime industry.

4. The final lime product has stable quality is the most advantage by rotary kiln process. The active lime production project is suitable for the comprehensive development of mine resources and has a good development prospect.
