First, Working principle of zinc oxide rotary kiln

Zinc oxide rotary kilns are generally used to treat filter cakes containing zinc. The zinc in the filter cake is mainly in the form of zinc ferrite, oxides and sulfates. At the high temperature of the zinc oxide rotary kiln, zinc ferrite and solid carbon act to reduce to metal zinc, while zinc, lead, and cadmium sulfate are also reduced and volatilized in the form of sulfides and gold. Metals that have been reduced and evaporated from the solid phase are re-oxidized under the effect of the kiln atmosphere and finally produced in the form of oxides.

Second,Process flow of zinc oxide rotary kiln

1. The zinc charge and coking coal are crushed into particles smaller than 40 meshes, and the zinc charge and the coking coal are mixed in a ratio of 1:0.30-0.35 to obtain a mixture.

2. The mixture is made into a granular mixture with an effective diameter of 8-15 mm, and finally the granular mixture is put into a zinc oxide rotary kiln for smelting.

3. When zinc-bauxite or zinc-containing industrial slag with a zinc content of 15% to 25% is used for smelting zinc-bauxite production, significant coking or coal burning can be achieved.

4. High productivity and good quality of zinc oxide obtained through smelting.
